Enjoying some time off

The weather is perfect. The frost date in this region has just ticked by. The hot humid virginia days have not yet hit so I'm enjoying a little time off from work puttering about in the garden. I'm getting to plant a bunch of more seeds and counting the days till a couple of plants sales take place in late April. The azaleas are in full bloom and the knock out roses are just starting to unfurl.

Here is something popping up in my garden. I'm not sure if it is a weed or one 00o00f 0the floweres from last years wildflower mix that had reseeded itself.

Spring is really here

I enjoyed a nice Sunday afternoon working on my yard. I planted some seeds including more beets, carrots, and a variety lettuce. I planted some herbs along side my hops which seem to be doing all right. I harvested some nice compost and spread it on the corner garden.

The box with the peas, and other early spring veggies is showing some sign of growth.
